As most of you know, for the last several weeks we’ve been following guidelines and recommendations from the CDC and ADA to only see emergency appointments; However, as many regulations are being lifted, we’re beginning to transition to a more open schedule.
While we’re excited to see all of our patients again and begin providing more routine care outside of emergencies, we’ll still be operating under a limited schedule, and won’t be able to do ALL types of appointments quite yet.
There are a couple of reasons for this:
- First, certain procedures require the use of dental equipment that produce aerosols, creating a higher-risk environment for the disease to spread. For the safety of our patients and staff, we will not be providing these procedures at this time.
- Second, due to a limited supply of personal protective equipment, we’re having to shift our systems to best utilize the resources we have on hand to safely treat each patient
- Last, we’re going through a long list of appointments that were canceled within the last month and working to reach out to everyone. We ask for your patience as we do this, and if you haven’t been contacted yet, know that somebody will be reaching out soon.
